I can't believe that October is almost over already. This means that November is on its way. And what happens in November?
Why, NaNoWriMo, of course!
NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month (which is November in case you didn't know) and is a non-profit organization that supports writing and literature in the US. NaNoWriMo doubles as an event name that has an epic challenge: Write 50,000 words in 30 days starting on November 1st.
This will be my third year participating in NaNo and I am determined to finish a novel this year. The first year I tried it, I didn't plan at all. I just sat down and wrote whatever came to mind. That train-wrecked really fast, let me tell you. Last year, I put a little more thought into what I was going to write, but ended up missing 2 days of writing due to a show and it threw off my word count completely.
I am so determined to finish this year, no matter how bad it might turn out. And that's that!
